The Proceed Textures are absent of colorant when you purchase them. This can be a great advantage if you are looking to achieve deep, dark colors. Having no colorant in them can also present you with a difficult experience on the job if you are expecting them to get good coverage without adding white.

Titanium White is the essential colorant added to materials to achieve opacity. If you are looking to cover your wall with one or two passes and you have selected a light color value, you will want to add Titanium White to your formula to make the materials opaque. Even though the textures may look like the right color without adding white, when you get on the wall you will find that you can see right through to the under color of the wall.
