Making Translucent Colors

Rich, "dye-like" colors are essential to know how to achieve, and with the Proceed Slow Drying Fluid Acrylics they can be mixed easily. Simply select the colors in the SDFA's that are translucent and then intermix them to achieve the colors you like.

"Dye-like" Browns

Whether it is for staining wood or overglazing metallics, rich browns are essential. One palette with which you can start is Transparent Red Iron Oxide, Diarylide Yellow, and Ultramarine Blue. These colors, mixed together in the right proportions, will create a wide array of deep, rich browns.
