Technique Step by Step
Step 1. Prep and prime the surface using the materials you are comfortable with, the base coat should be black.
Step 2. Apply two coats of Bella Foil Size, allowing the first coat to dry to a dry tack before recoating.
Step 3. Apply the foil.
Step 4. Brush or roll on Proceed Cracking Size, allowing it to dry to a dry tack.
Step 5. Trowel on Proceed Transparent Cracking Glaze and allow to fully dry, (it will clarify and harden upon drying).
Step 6. Apply a color wash with a glaze made up of 1 cup of glaze to 4 teaspoons of Proceed Slow-Drying Fluid Acrylic Carbon Bla
