Proceed® Smooth Light-Bodied Texture is an opaque, acrylic mastic texture coating that requires minimal surface preparation to correct minor surface blemishes and drywall seams. It is formulated with low-density aggregates and dries to a soft, tactile surface that mimics fabric. A medium for all techniques used to create an absorbent, high relief, soft texture.

This is a technique that uses Rough Regular Texture. The instructions used to create this technique are found here.

  • We call this product Smooth Light-Bodied Texture because it dries with a smooth surface, has a light, airy quality to its body and can be troweled on to create textural effects.
  • Can be tinted, troweled, sanded, thinned and sprayed or rolled.
  • Can be applied directly to sheetrock without a primer beneath.
  • Smooth, fluffy, air inside it.
  • Tints beautifully.
  • Proceed textures are formulated to contain less than 50 g/l of VOC’s and, as such, meet the criteria for LEED Credit 4.2 (Low Emitting Materials – Paints and Coatings).
